Stallions
used by Tarrendene Stud
At Tarrendene Stud, our main goal is to produce dressage horses that are quiet, easy to ride, but also competitive FEI quality horses. Kylie Wilson who is one of the owners and riders for Tarrendene stud has been riding since she was 4 years old. She has a passion for breeding, particularly taking all elements of breeding such as the horses composition, looking where they maybe lacking in conformation, and finding mares/stallions that would compliment the other. Her love of breeding started with the purchase of Immenhof Scout, whom she purchased with her parents in 2009. Kylie has now taken over the entire breeding program at Tarrendene Stud, and has been breeding solidly for the past 10 years. In her time, She has produced quality dressage horses, most notably Tarrendene Heidi who is currently a Grand Prix Mare being ridden by Kaitlin Dooney.
Tarrendene Stud owned 2 Stallions Immenhof Scout and River Range Wolverene. Due to medical advice Scout was gelded late last year so we have been actively seeking other semen for our brood mares. This brings us to the current Stallions we have been using since Scouts gelding. So far to date we have used Qarterhall, Fiderfurst, Summerstorm, Questing R and Fusionist. Our next breeding season, we have secured semen from Le Formidable, which we are very exciting about and also a Cremello Stallion Qaside MD so there will be no chestnuts foals with him as the sire guaranteed!. Stay tuned for those foals, we look forward to showing you when they are born.
